They were given a standing ovation by a warm and enthusiastic audience: the hundred musicians of the two great orchestras of the Conservatory - the Grande Harmonie conducted by Colin Raoulx, the Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Frédéric Rossoni - set the stage of the Grand Théâtre de la Maison de la Culture, offering spectators superb musical movements, on the occasion of the annual concert of the classical section of Te Fare Upa Rau. From "Something Over the Rainbow" to the Concerto for the Orohena, from "Haere Maina" to "Summer Time", the program has kept all its promises, and the young virtuosos of the Conservatory have achieved prowess. Not to mention the magnificent trio of teachers David (on the violin), Dothy (on the piano) and the beautiful voice of Emmanuelle to the tune of "Notre Dame de Paris". This concert was also shared with children from sensitive neighborhoods, who were able to discover another gateway to the World of Music. It's the turn of the traditional section to go on stage: this will be the case next Saturday, June 10, Place To'ata at 6:00 p.m., on the occasion of the great Gala Night of Te Fare Upa Rau, which will engage for the circumstance... nearly 800 students in 'Ori Tahiti, 'Orero, Himene, instruments...
